Traffic Control Manager

Job Description:

Miles Resources is seeking an experienced Traffic Control Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining a safe and efficient traffic control division, which includes flaggers, traffic control supervisors, vehicles, machinery, signs, and project setup.

Job Skills and Requirements:

Candidate should be capable of:

• Filling in for project TCS in various situations as needed.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching for successful divisional operations
• Work closely with Operations and Project management to ensure consistency with traffic control needs, company guidelines, expectations, and goals.
• Monitor and ensure operations comply with laws, permits, and company safety programs
• Experience with traffic control software
• Be responsible for the production of all project traffic control plans, timely and accurate paperwork.
• Create, track, and analyze traffic control procedures to allow divisional growth.
• Champion the company to employees, customers, and the community

Candidate should possess:

• Current flagging and TCS card
• 5-year experience required
• Current drivers license and clean driving record
• Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent planning, scheduling, and logistical skills
• Technical expertise in traffic control requirements and procedures
• A self-starter who will maintain a positive attitude, assist in employee education and growth, manage time wisely, multi-task, and be held accountable
