Thorough understanding of all project management control systems (scheduling, cost control, procurement and estimating)
Identify, manage, and mitigate risks while ensuring proactive solutions
Financial Management: manage and protect project budget, manage subcontracts and invoicing, manage change order process, prepare cost reports and work-in-progress forecast reports in timely manner for management.
Ensure quality and safety standards are in compliance with applicable specifications and laws.
Act as the point of contact for stakeholders, internally and externally, through all project phases.
Mentor and train Project Engineers, fostering their professional growth
Expand business growth with new and existing clients
Complete other duties as assigned
Job Skills and Requirements:
7+ years of project management and estimating experience in civil construction
7+ year of experience in scheduling and management of project timelines
Proven track record of meeting project budgets or exceeding profit margins
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication
3+ years of direct supervisory and leadership experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred plus minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience or 12 years of equivalent experience. Construction Management degree is preferred, other degrees acceptable with relevant experience
Proficient in Microsoft software – MS Project
Experience with Trimble software is a plus; Vista Viewpoint, B2W Estimate/Track/Schedule
Experience with plan take-off software such as On-Screen Take-off and Revu Bluebeam
