The Project Administrator position is responsible for ensuring that a project is successfully completed from award through close out. They will perform in close collaboration with Project Managers and the Contract Administrator. This position is a vital piece of our company and requires a strong attention to detail and organization. This person must have the ability to communicate well with Project Managers, municipalities, and subcontractors on a daily basis.
The Project Administrator is the single point of contact for the assigned projects and project managers and for all compliance, billing, and subcontract administration for the projects assigned.
The position reports directly to the Contract Administrator and Controller.
Job Skills and Requirements:
Experience working directly with project managers in a construction setting
Experience in job setup, tracking, and close out procedures
Experience in project billing review of sub payments
Experience with compliance such as certified payroll, Federal Forms, lien waivers, etc.
Experience working directly with Subcontractors, various Municipalities, Labor & Industries, and WSDOT
Experience with ViewPoint/Vista, JWS/APEX, and B2W software desirable, but not required
Able to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing responsibilities quickly
Ability to work with an assortment of personalities and people
Self-starter with a great attitude
Follow company standards and represent Miles in professional manner
