Hot Mix Asphalt Plant Operator

Job Description:

Miles Resources is seeking an experienced Asphalt Plant Operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for not only operating the plant, but also scheduling liquid asphalt deliveries, troubleshooting issues with the plant, and performing mechanical duties on the plant.

Candidate should be capable of and possess these skills:

• Operating a continuous feed asphalt plant
• Multi-tasking (customer calls, loading process, ticket accuracy, etc.)
• Have own tools to support plant repairs
• Experience with Electrical diagnosis of controls and switch gear
• Detailed knowledge of Hot Mix Designs
• Computer and software knowledge
• Experience with blending controls, JWS loadout system, digital plant reporting and time submittal.
• Excellent communicator and Team player
• Ability to schedule crews
• Competent heavy equipment operator
