Job Description:
Miles Resources is looking for a hardworking and ambitious Administrative Assistant/Accounting Clerk for our Puyallup office. This person will provide administrative support to the general office, accounting, contracts, and operations departments; answer phones as a backup and cover receptionist breaks; assist in the accounting department for job related accounts payable and general data entry for monthly processes, as well as supporting payroll with various needs.
This position reports directly to the Controller.
Day to Day Operations:
Backup phone coverage for receptionist
Daily filing
Producing folders and binders for project managers and contracting department
Finalizing monthly project close out including pulling files and organizing closed projects
Running/Delivering bids when needed
Maintaining phone list for employees
Assisting IT & Receptionist with maintaining the office machines including fax, copy, printers
Office supply inventory
Organizing file room and moving archived boxes out
Tracking and maintaining reseller permits
Match, code, and enter all project related accounts payable invoices
Assist with daily cash logging and posting
Process weekly fuel logs and daily equipment usage posting
Backup payroll for field employees when needed
Assist payroll with making folders, new hire packets, and weekly check mailing
Other projects as assigned

An Associates Degree or equal experience
Experience in Construction or Manufacturing
Experience in accounts payable
Strong attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
ViewPoint/Vista experience desired but not required
