What You’ll Do:

  • Run Topside on Paver or Asphalt Roller
  • Paving for residential, commercial, and public works projects
  • Safely and efficiently operate and maintain both trucks and heavy equipment
  • Moving equipment on lowboy or tilt deck.
  • Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety, environmental and DOT regulations.
  • Ensure product quality and order accuracy.
  • Keep your truck / equipment clean and free of buildup, for optimal performance and professional appearance.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 8+ years working on paving crew
  • Extensive time and knowledge as asphalt roller operator (Breakdown & Finish)
  • Extensive time and knowledge as paver operator (Topside and Screed
  • Knowledge of specifications, safety standards, means and methods, testing and quality control
  • Management of trucks and mix calls with plant operator
  • Valid Class A CDL, a current DOT medical card, and an insurable driving record.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with dispatch, co-workers and customers.
  • Strong understanding of safe driving practices and DOT regulations.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in all weather conditions.
  • Flexibility to work varying start times, overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed.
